Gunsmithing My first bob job

This was my first attempt at bobbing a 1911 frame. My Wilson CQB needed rounded for EDC and with the quarantine i got the bug. I used the WC one piece rounded magwell/mainspring as a guide. I touched up the cerakote with a kit from Wolfpackarmory. Im pretty happy with the results.

nice job, did you have to reposition the pin that holds the msh? if so does the recontouring eliminate the prior hole completely? thanks

Nice job! I would not have been brave enough to do a Wilson as my first job!
I don't even own a Wilson.... but wish I did.

fortunately that wasnt required. just removing about 1/8" on each side and blending.
