my first shooting match

ok i am going to go shoot a 200y prone at the local club. 37 rounds, nothing major. 5 sighters 15, change targets, 2 sighters and 15 more. never shot anything formal before. i have a rifle and scope and spotter. dont have tripod i want yet, but i have one that will do. i have other stuff, cases and ammo boxes and mildot master, data book, no data though. gonna get there early and help out and see about dialing in a little


any advice?

Your equipment list is perfect. Your attitude is also perfect. You'll learn tons by watching and ask questions in a respectful manner. The match director will really appreciate you coming early and helping out!

rifle, mag, cleaning rod, bore snake, data book, open chamber flag dealy, muffs, GPS, ammo, mag, batteries... spotter & tripod... hmmm, anything else?

Don't over due the coffee that morning and make sure you take plenty of H20.
