Just ordered a scope for the build, The PH is just on for the pics and will be replaced by a 6500.

Kidd makes a great 22. It shoots very well.

Wow, the milled receiver looks beautiful. Some day I will pony up the cash for a Kidd. I keep reading great things about the triggers especially.

Congratulations. Have you found out which ammo it likes best?

Very nice! That receiver is on my want list. Did you send the stock off to be inleted for the receiver? Is the barrel free floated?

Shoots Lapua and Wolf very well... Did not care to due further development. The stock was inleted by AR15Barrels.com. Yes the Barrel is free floated.

What 6500 are you going to use?

I built 10/22 on a TacSol X-Ring receiver with a Kidd barrel and trigger and it shoots. I'm using the 2.5-16x50 6500 and it's a great scope. No problem seeing .22 holes at 100 yards.

Mine also really likes Wolf.

Kidd makes really nice 10/22 rifles, and his business is a good one to deal with.

I went with the 2.5-16x42 tactical...

The Kidd receiver has a flat rail so I wanted a scope with a large adjustment range as we shoot out to 200yds. I would have preferred a scope with a matching reticle but could not find anything under 1K that would focus to 10yrds. So the 6500 it is. Not ideal but I will just figure what power is MOA and I should be set.
