My last groups of the year. Newb report.

I got a chance to shoot this morning and met Toddcal13. Great guy and great shooter.

This is the first time I am trying the SH 5 shot group sheets. I shot a total of 37 rounds today and 25 are pictured below. It was extremely cold, well at least for me. My hands were so cold I couldn't feel the trigger. Excuses aside, I think I'm shooting ok. The rifle can definitely shoot better. I was shooting from a bench with a bipod and rear bag.

Round:
Federal (2x) and Nosler (7x) Brass

43.5gn Varget
175gn Sierra Match King
Seated 2.088" to ogive.

pretty nice groups but as usual need specs on the rifle and loads that made these nice tight holes. And, BTW, I think you are shooting pretty good. You could definitely put the smack down on an animal.

Your last one is most impressive as by that point I couldn't feel my fingers feet or face! Great shooting with you. Let's do it again after the new year

Where did you get that target? I found the dot drill but I can't find that one.

It's on a cd that comes with his data book. You were really in your groove on the top right group.

Good shooting and a great way to end the year. I thought about going out and starting my new year off with some shooting but it was 2 degrees when I got up this morning!

Could be way worse. I went out for my FIRST groups of the year and got stuck for 3 hours...no trigger time, tired, sore, and upset that I could not even make a bad situation "OK" but shooting...bummed. At least I made it home.
