I just got my LRB M25 rear lug receiver this morning. Through some sweet talk, I managed to reserve this receiver and have a rear lug welded on to it. Why this receiver? It has the serial number 12345.
I noticed the serial number trend a while back and inquired about it before it was made and spoken for. I reserved it before it was heat treated and it was included with their latest batch of rear lug M25's.
I'm naming it King Roland, of Druidia who famously set the access code to his planet's airlock to 1...2...3...4...5... in the movie Spaceballs.
It will be built with:
-A new TRW bolt
-Bartlein heavy stainless barrel
-McMillan M3A in GAP camo
-TRW trigger group
-Winchester op-rod
-A new in tube Winchester flash suppressor
-A unitized gas cylinder made from a new in the tube gas cylinder with a GI H&R front band
I still need to collect some miscellaneous small parts like a NM spring guide, a NM vented gas piston and a Shooting Sight trigger.
I will eventually suppress this rifle and I'm still undecided on a scope.
Tony.
