I would have to see some close ups of machine work before I would ever trust McGowan again. If they are still making hot garbage. Hard pass. These pictures are from two replacement barrels because the threaded portions were undersized. I finally gave up when the third barrel was just as bad as the first two.

WOW that's pretty bad!

So far no issues with this barrel nor the 4 other McGowen barrels that I own.
