This is basically a clone of my build! How does yours shoot?
bell & carlson stock medalist
FFP 6-24 viper
swfa rings & egw base
blemished jp brake (stainless and no flats milled on top or bottom)

I have an older Model 10, love this rifle.
BTW mine likes Black Hill Match 168 BTHP real well.

Enjoy, that is a very nice Savage you have. Thank you for sharing.

I have an older 10 FP. It is pre-accu trigger. It shoots extremely well with the FGMM 168 BTHP's. It also shoots well with handloads using 168 - 178 bullets and IMR 4895.

Mine is in a B&C varmint stock. I sent it to CDI and had them mill the stock for their bottom metal. Fit and function is fantastic. I also have the harris notched leg bipod. I replaced the factory trigger with a timney.

I like your JP Brake.

Post some target pictures when you get a chance.

So many questions.
I love this setup. I just placed my order for the same rifle (.308 Savage 10 FP-SR) and considering all the same upgrades and accessories.
Here are my questions:

1) Did you paint that stock yourself? That looks amazing. Can you tell me how you did that? What kind of paint / process.
2) What brand buttstock cartridge patch is that in the photos? link?
3) Is the scope the FFP version or the SFP? Are you happy with the scope?
4) Can you post links to the specific Weaver Tach rings and picatinny base you used? Did you go with the 30mm or the 1-inch?
5) JP has two muzzle brakes (.875 OD and .925 OD) Do you know which one you're using there?
6) Are you happy with the stock? Any plans on an upgrade? I've heard both side of the argument and can't decide.

Again, my compliments on a super sexy rifle.

Thanks
