My new Savage

Well it's not new but it was built by Savage Arms about 1944.

It's a Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1

I got one from my grand father after he died. It was a Savage Enfield from 1942.

That's a cool old rifle. The old ones can be killer, my brother recently picked up a beautiful old Eddystone Enfield.
