So, as my last thread stated, I have been putting together a Remington 700 to shoot as my first precision rifle. Got all my parts together and, of course, my PTG bottom metal and AICS 10 rounder dont feed properly. I'm located in Knoxville Tennessee, and there are a few gunsmiths around here. However, in choosing where I was to take my rifle, I remembered a past experience I had with Tactical Advantage Corporation. Over the summer, I went in looking for parts for my 700 and ended up having a very friendly conversation with two of the employees about guns for about an hour, 45 minutes past their closing time. Not many people my age will sit and talk about firearms for an hour, so I was appreciative of that experience. Anyways, took my rifle to them for my feed issue because I remembered this good experience. Got quoted ten days and a very very reasonable price. Called seven days later to check progress, and it was done! Came to pick up the rifle and they apparently had an issue with my work file, and none of the gunsmithing services were in the computer. Employee told me that since he had nothing on my file the job was free, even insisting after I offered to pay anyway. Decided to buy a good bit of other product from them because I couldn't let myself walk out with a free gunsmith job. Anyway, it was a rare and shining example of customer service, and it was much appreciated. So if anyone is in the Knoxville area, these guys will take care of you. Just wanted to share my good experience!
