I have been on the road to get a good 22 trainer for some time,

I had a Annie mod 54 magsine rifle, however I did not feel that I got the precision I wanted, tried

13 different types of ammo in it, at it´s best it was 1,5 inches at 100 meter.

Ergo I sold it to a guy who intended to have it rebuilt.

Yesterday an auction that I have been watching ended, I won.

I am now the proud owner of a 1427 Anschütz Biathlon rifle, ie a model 54 with magasin and diopter sights.

I feel that this rifle is a good solid start down the road for a trainer rifle that will give me the volume of training rounds needed to get decent,

I have a 300 meter range that will be used more.

Ohh well I thought I would share.

Best regards Chris

Sounds like a winner Chris! If you get a chance post us some pictures of it. And be sure to let us know how it shoots.

Hi guys,

I only have the one pic of the rifle,

I take some more in the coming week as I take possession of the rifle,

I belive that a slanted base 15-20 MOA and a Nikon 4-16 scope mil dot will the the right deal for this rifle.

Went to the range yesterday to do a spot of shooting,

yes there was a bit of a snowstorm.

I had a blast though.

More updated to come as the project comes together.
