Hunting & Fishing My Son's First Muley

Shot this morning.

All he could see was the white patch on the throat, his face and part of the rack. Shot at 80 yds. in brush. Deer ran off like he hadn't been hit. Thought he'd missed, but it piled up 60 yds into the trees. Dad's proud! (Sorry for the bad cell phone pics. Digital camera died in the cold.)

It's cousin I shot 3 years ago about a mile from that spot.

Still a week to find the really big one that's in there!

Great deer. Much bigger bodies than any of our southeastern whitetails.
