My stupid question for the day....

I have a Walther P22 and for the life of me can not figure out how to take the slide off to clean it!! Pushing down on both "slide release" (I don't know the actual term)things on the side of the frame doesn't seem to do the trick.

Perhaps I'm missing something? Or maybe I'm just an idiot? Probably the latter lol

Thanks. My problem is the takedown slides don't move far enough

they're really stiff, but they will come down if you wiggle them. i had the same issues with the one i had

I ended up using a hammer haha, but they work just fine now. Thanks for the help guys
