National Anthem and television...

I just rewound the Rangers/Yanks back to the pregame show and noticed that they did not televise the national anthem. Is this the norm for baseball? Was looking forward to seeing Stoney Larue sing it out.

They always show it on NASCAR.
I have no idea about other sports.
