They may be a bit pricey, but look into the Navy Arms company's replica firearms. They are all quality products.
I met VaL Forgett Jr. back in the 1990s, when a mutual friend introduced us in his original shop in Northern NJ. Now his Son runs it and they have been staunch advocates of producing quality historical firearm replicas for over 60 years. They are safe designs, and they can shoot.
Their products are outside my own shooting orbit these days, but their stuff is out there, and it's quality.
