Neck Turning Lube

Sinclair used to have a neck turning oil, and the most recent hotness is Delta Carbon "No Oil" lube.

Imperial sizing die wax is great for a lot of things... neck turning isn't one of them.

The biggest problem with the oil based solutions - home brew or other - is the need to get it all off before actually using the case. Delta No-Oil can be left as is, and some people actually use it regularly for neck lube.

Are you talking for the cutting operation, or lubricant on the mandrel to prevent heat issues?
For the cutting operation, Tap Majic would would great.
I have made cutting fluid by mixing 1 bottle of ATF and 1 bottle of STP oil treatment, this would also work for lubricating the mandrel.

I was hoping there would be an all in one cutting/lubricant for the entire operation

Add the two together, mix well and you'll have enough to pass down the remainder to your grandkids.
It will lubricate and act as a cutting oil.

When I first started turning necks I used RCBS case lube. I would apply it with a q-tip type of cotton swab. At some point i got some of the PMA neck turning lube as part of a package i bought. I like how it works.
