OK since I shoot different brass within the same cal and use the same die set. I turn my necks so they are more uniform with neck tension. Am I wasting my time to get that super low SD which rite now runs in the 5-8s. or am i just anal? Stan

Only you can answer this question. Load a few unturned cases and compare. I've not seen much if any improvement in turning case necks or for that matter, neck sizing, in factory rifles. I turn case necks for a few rifles but they are all tight neck chambers, a couple that were not intended to be tight neck.
