Anyone who has actually used, or has right now, any "Norma" brand 338 Lapua cases:

What is the neck wall thickness?

I'm asking to make sure I get the right bushing for my Redding neck sizing die.

I use the .365" TiNi bushing on my Norma, but I also have the .364" TiNi that I got with the dies.

Norma actually weighed about 10grs more than my Lapua that I'm cycling now.

Since brass varies from lot to lot, I'm only going to suggest that you get the .365" TiNi. You may want to get the .364" and the .366" (if there's a TiNi out now, there wasn't 6 years back) and then all of your bases are covered for not a lot of cash.

I'd rather have it and not really need it, than to need it and not have it, is my motto. At this point another $20 ain't going to matter too much.

Perfect! Here's the math:

Case neck OD after sizing via bushing .365"
Minus bullet diameter .338
Minus 2 x .014" case walls
= -.001"

That means .001 inch interference. Too little for a semi auto rifle, but perfect for a bolt rifle.
