I Da ho
Is it just me or does anyone else notice a big uptick in old threads getting revived?

Maybe something to do with the new similar threads feature at the bottom?

The similar threads feature is bringing back old threads…. But also good older content.

I asked Alex if they could be “ordered” for most recent or have a “date flag,” but the forum software doesn’t allow it, sadly.

I’ve been caught responding a couple of times. New habit… check the date of creation or last few posts before responding. Just takes a second and I don’t waste time responding to ancient stuff.

Used right, similar thread feature is good. The content is there… steer people to it. Just have to be conscious of the date before jumping back in.

Its sort of misleading when you see a new product announcement and come to find out the thread is 3 years old. I know to check the date once I see a bunch of [BANNED] posters.

Same with sale items in the PX that arent clearly marked sold.

Double edged sword. allows people to see similar content, but yeah Necro Threads. Not always a bad thing. Just sometimes.

And if there is a similar thread everyone will yell at them to use the search feature.....

Soooooooo, I see no issue with it.

I also love to Laugh at people that jump in and not know it is a 10 plus year old thread......... Very funny. :ROFLMAO:

I see no issue with it. No one is forced to click on a thread, or if they do, to continue reading it.

If LowLight saw an issue with it, I imagine he would automatically lock older threads like some other websites do.
