I need to invest in a cronograph since i am going to start shooting long distance. And since i have been reading some stuff on here you fellows have convinced me that i need 1 to get the most out of what i will be doing. So who makes a good 1 and will have all the things i need to do this and who has the best prices on these. Thanks for any info you can give me...DAN

    Re: Need a chronograph

Don't get a Chronychronie(whatever) O35p is the bomb and the Neco PVsomething is supposed to be good also, I replaced my Chrony with a CED M2, it's easy to use, easy to setup, don't forget a tri pod

    Re: Need a chronograph

we tested my $100 dollar "chrony" against a big buck Oehler. The chrony was just as accurate. I got a model that has features i never use. I write the velocities down in my data book as I shoot and they come up on the remote screen. That's all I need. All the other stuff is a waste for me. The more features, the more confusing it is. I just want to know what the bullet speed, fer gosh sakes.

    Re: Need a chronograph

by the way regarding above post. It's a "Shooting Chrony" Master Beta. At least it's not a masterb....

Think maybe they should change the name???

    Re: Need a chronograph

I had a Chrony Beta Master and it worked ok but I wouldn't recommend one or any of the Chronys. It was effected greatly by the sun direction. Got lots of errors. Never any problems with my Oehler 35.
