As stated, does anyone know a good riflesmith in the Jacksonville, FL area? I have a Remy 5R I am looking to have bedded into a Manners T4.

yea, I am here for a job right now, and I am having no luck. I would even consider going into Central Florida to have it done.

i live about 45 minutes south of you, i dont know of any smiths in the area to do that.
i would ship it up to Apa, stuff gets there in 2 days and shipping isnt too bad, probably cheaper than driving to central florida

I have heard about a smith in Longwood, BWE Gunsmithing. Don't know anything about them though other than he advertises as a master gunsmith and does alot of custom Class III work. His rate for pillar bedding is $190.00

Looks like I need a mill and some free time..I'd help you guys out if I had one of either..Can't find much myself for a decent gunsmith to have a cup of coffee and shoot the bull..

As someone said, I would ship it to APA up in Georgia. Heck, you could almost drive it there as it's only about 5 hours away. He does top notch work and is a known entity.
