Need a range or ??? for night fire, IR sight in

Just received my first PVS-14 from TNVC, it is very nice.
Waiting on delivery, ordered of one of the Russian “Perst-3 Green + Plus GENERATION 3.0 aiming Laser IR“
Will soon be looking for someplace w/ 100 yards (or more) and night fire OK.
How do you guys find places to sight in the IR laser?
None of the ranges in my AO are open @ night.

Where do you plan on shooting it after you zero it? Go there to zero it.
