I just finished building a 223 gas gun i will using for local matches. It is going to serve from up close ranges up to (mostly) 600 yards; commonly spr matches.
I thought about an lpvo but with my aging eyes i can use higher magnifications. I decided to look into mid range scopes and will be using an offset red dot if needed. I have been looking at Leupold mk5 18x, atacr 16x / 20x and others..
Weight is important. Prefer illumination (should i?), ffp (should i). Budget is not limited.
I know a lot of you play matches so please let me know what you use; and your advise.
