I am planning on building an AR308 chambered in 6.5 CM for long range shooting and potentially some PRS matches just to meet some more people and have some fun. Right now I am looking into a X-caliber barrel and a Criterion barrel. Currently leaning towards the X-caliber as it comes with a head-spaced bolt. Does anyone have any experience with either of these companies? I have only seen one or two reviews about these companies in the large frame AR platform and all were good but there isn't enough out there for me to be able to decide between the two.

Look in to Wilson Combat while you're at it.

I have Criterions, one 24" bull (quite heavy) and an 18" with a lighter profile which is still not exactly a light weight.

If I didn't already own the Criterions (which have been great), Wilson Combat would be near the top of my shopping list.

My Criterions have headspaced properly with Go No-Go gauges on both JP and Toolcraft bolts.

I think I heard Wilson Combat uses the same LR308 spec bolt dimensions.

It's better to ask Wilson...
