Rifle Scopes Need help determing what rings to get for Kimber LPT

Greetings- first post. I need some help on picking some parts.

I have a Kimber LPT in .308. It came with the two piece base set. First question- I plan to get a one piece base. Kimber sells one, but I've also been reading about 20moa one piece bases. Which to get? If I get a 20moa base, what is a good brand?

The one piece base looks to be higher than the two piece bases. I am planning on getting the Bushnell 6-24x50 scope. If I get this one, what height rings should I be looking at, and what brand is recommended. I was thinking ADM rings.

I like the 6-24x50 scope, but the 6-12x44 might be good too. I only plan to target shoot and have a little fun. What do you guys think? the 50?

BTW, I did read the sticky, but was hoping someone had the same rifle and also could give some advice about the scope size.
