Hello. I have a browning b-78 round barrel (NOT octogon)single shot in 30-06 that I want to change scope bases on. It currently has gloss leupold style standard bases on it and they are wore out. The front ring slips in pretty easy and my past experience with these bases are that it takes a wrench and a lot of cussing to get them lined up right. I would like to put a pic style rail on it but haven't been able to find anyone who makes one. Closest base I can find is talley and it uses the talley standard rings. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hey there, give these guys a ring if you havent already.

Stand up business, good people and do excellent work.

Thanks. I'll give them a call.

Their rails are top notch IMO. They are a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for in this case. If they dont have what you need listed chances are they can make you one.

Had a Ken Farrell scope base on an old Howa 1500 and it was rock solid
