Came across a rifle with a leupold mk6 3-18 with a tremor 2 reticle. What's a good proce to pay for one these days? Ffp in good condition too. I dont know their line enough to make an offer.

Goes without saying but price is in the eyes of the beholder, etc. etc.

That being said... With how cheap you can find Mk5s at this point on the secondary market - and with them being the undeniably better optic - I probably wouldn’t pay much more than $1000-1200 for a Mk6.

I sold that exact scope BNIB for $1600. Ive never seen a Mk6 for sale or sell for less than $1400 let alone 1200 but in this market of BA scopes cheap, for a used one $1400 is fair and $1200 is a steal.

Also pay attention to the knobs. there are tall crappy knobs and good ones. C2 or something IIRC cant remember are the good ones..

I wouldn't, I'd buy the Mark 5.

Chances are the seller will cry if you offer him less than $2k since he most likely paid about $3k. Unless he was on a pro deal be prepared to walk. I personally wouldn't go above $1200.
