need help on a brake..

Re: need help on a brake..

I just ordered one of the RWS brakes. It looks and is designed very similar to the Thruster. I was going to get a Thruster myself, till I seen RWS's brake and all the good reviews, plus I like buying from a fellow Hide member. I PM'd him 2 hours ago and told him what I needed and my Brake is already set out ready to be shipped in the morning. That's good service.

He has a few brakes for sale in the Classifieds.

Which is the most effective ? I thought I wanted an FTE but see that min. barrel is .800 and that leaves me in the rain.

any advice is appreciated.
thanks. </div></div>

Check out the Shrewd varmint brake. My barrel OD is .950" and my smith turned down the rear of the brake to match the contour. The rifle shoots like a baby now. The ports are angled forward and there are none on the bottom so shooting prone is OK.
