Im having my gunsmith put together a new rifle for me. Not to get into it too much its a .300 Win. Mag. on a Mcmillan
A-5, Krieger MTU bbl, etc.
I cant decide on what optic to get for it. I mostly have Nightforce optics on most of my builds (Leupold Mark4 also) and I love them. I cant say nothing wrong about them but I want to try something different. I was thinking about the US Optics SN-3 T-PAL. I have about $1800 to spend but if i HAVE to I could go a couple hundred over. I mainly only shoot at the most out to 600yrds but I want to have something good if I want to go further.

Give me some help guys.

My thoughts are if you cant Justify getting EXACTLY what you would want if money were not a consideration then its NXS, the logical choice. At the end of the day I dont think there are many shots you could not take because you chose a NXS over say paying the premium for a Schmidt Bender PM11 etc. NXS generally has a good enough set of features to cope with most situations.

What I am trying to say if you want more than your NXS's pay the premium and get ALL the features you would like to have have in an ideal world were $$ was not an issue.
