Rifle Scopes Need Help On putting some glass on my Rock River

i am trying to take my Leupold M8 6x off my 30/30 and put it on my Rock River but have no idea where to start as far as rings and mounts and if i should get a carry handle so i can use open sight and scope if i did get a carry handle and mount it what would be the best thing to use keep in mind it's a full size scope so dont know if the carry handle mount will be practical any insight will be great thanks oh im new here so PM me your suggestion in case i cant find this post again tee hee

Now that is a run on sentence. How about some punctuation, might make it a bit easier to follow you.

Unless you really need backup irons, I would just get the scope and forget about the carry handle. Or get a flip down rear that you can use with the scope and a quick remove scope mount.
