Rifle Scopes Need help please

I just bought a new Sightron 8-32x56 with a 30mm tube, my question is what height rings do I need, I will be mounted on a Remington LTR 308 with a o moa EGW base using Burris XTR rings, (if I can find some)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, And if anyone has a set of rings that will work for my set up that you would like to sell, please let me know.

Before I get flamed for the noob question.............I dont have the scope in hand, I just hoped someone would have the heart to help me out, I plan on ordering the rings asap so I can get it put together

Assuming that the EGW 0 cant base sits at a similar height to my Warne 0 cant base, the Burris XTR medium should work.

I have Burris XTR medium rings on my Warne base on a Savage Model 12. I currently have a 50mm scope with an adjustable objective mounted and I have about .25" of clearance. I would suspect that your 56mm SF Sightron probably has a similar outdside diameter to my 50mm AO.

Can't be sure without doing all the math, but the above comparison seems reasonable.

I know the .885 height NF rings will work on the LTR. If you want a heavier contour barrel in the future, then you can go with 1 inch height rings.
