Need help removing Howa 1500 Ejector

So I've been having a hell of a time trying to take out my Howa 1500 ejector so that I can find my seating depth. I keep bending my punches and of course, I tried with a case against the bolt face to take some pressure off of the ejector pin.

Any ideas?

Just pony up and buy a seating depth checker.

Got mine out but took way more effort then any bolt i've worked with....

Thank you for the link! Glad to see that I'm not the only one who's been having a hard time with Howas. They seem to want to make everything crazy super tight for some reason.
