Rifle Scopes Need help with Savage base.

I have a friend who has an older Savage long action tactical with a round front ring and a flat rear. I am looking for a good one piece base for it but am having no luck. 2 piece bases space the rings too far apart to mount most scopes unless you use a extension ring, and the only one of those I can find are the older cheap weavers.

Any help or suggestions?? Thanks in advance. TJR

I have been using kenfarrell.com rings and bases on most of my rifles and he makes quality items and he will have what you are looking for.
