can someone guide me to where I can find info on how to use the ranging marks on bottom of P4f reticle

just got scope no info in manual

thanks

I think you have 4 sets of horizontal parallel lines at the bottom of the reticle. The space between equals 1 Meter high at 400, 600, 800 an 1000 meters (or 1 Yard at 400, 600, 800 1K yards) large to small, right to left.

A quick way of ranging a man sized target belt/waist to top of the head.

Hope that is what you are asking, and that it makes sense.

What he said EXCEPT that when measuring you measure crotch/groin to crown of head.

thanks a bunch I new it was simple you all made it easy

ill practice this week end (without people) on fence posts or target stands

you would think Schmidt and Bender would give some info -

Ill be getting my first SB soon.. pls helpe understand this..
do you have to know the hight size ir the target?

it is 400-600-800-1000 meters for 1 meter tall target as said. If target is 1/4 size- as head is 25cm or 0.25m tall- then it is previous ranges divided by four. 400=100 etc.
