need hs precision stock help

I have an older Remington PSS with said stock and the glue on pad that came on it originally needs to be replaced but I cannot find a matching pad for it. Can someone give me an item number or point me in the right direction

McMillan sells great pads, and they come already attached to stocks........


Just yanking your chain. I'd call HS-they could probably steer you in the right direction.

that was funny. last time i saw one replaced the guy made an adjustable setup and sanded down an oversized replacement to fit. brownells should have something for you if HS wont fix it

If it's the really thin pad that comes with the PSS rifles, Remington may have them. When I bought a PSS stock from HS Precision years ago, it came with a much thicker recoil pad than comes on the Remington PSS rifles and was marked HS Precision not Remington. If all else fails, get something you like and have it ground to fit.

HS's email customer support guy fucking sucks. Call instead.
They dicked me around for a week when I tried to get them to help me out with a part I needed.

I called them the next week and I got it squared away in 5 minutes.

I agree with calling. I had an issue with an H-S and I called up to talk to them and had the problem solved free-of-charge in about 5 minutes. Their CS is really good, so long as you call.
I emailed them beforehand as well, and never got an answer. Not everybody is digital, even when they have an email address.
