Fixing to do another ar build and going to use a billet lower, Found a deal on a Double Diamond Law Enforcement Supply billet lower. Any one have any info on these? good,bad? cant find anything and their website is crap.

I’ll try to give you the basic details: Lower is designed to match the Vltor upper in looks. You most likely have the version that matches the standard forged upper at the buffer tube. Magwell is wire EDM cut. Material is ether 6061 or 7075. If it says “T1” it is 6061, if it says “T2” it is 7075. You most likely have 6061. When you say you got a good deal on it there is one thing you should know, there were some factory 2nd that were sold for dirt cheap. The customers knew they were factory 2nds and hence the ultra low price. If you bought one from an individual and were given what looked like a great deal you may have gotten a factory 2nd. If you are not sure about the lower just call and provide the SN#. You may get a new lower out of it.
