Rifle Scopes Need New Rings?

Hello everybody,

I would like to know if I should purchase new scope rings.

I have a scope that I mounted in leupold quick detach rings after lapping the rings in for a good fit. The scope currently stays on one picatinny mount, but I have another rifle that I would like to put it on. Since the scope rings were lapped in on that particular mount, should I get new rings or do you think I am ok to just move the QD rings to another mount?

Just throw the levers and move it to other gun, that's what they were made to do.
You will have to re-zero your scope I'm sure.
