Need price help re. Sako forester 308

I want to buy a really nice condition Sako forester in 308 from a buddy of mine. I looked them up and they seem to be going for between 500 and 800. Does this seem right for a basic model forester in good condition?

I'd say 700-800 when the auction starts, assuming it doesn't have issues. $600's fo more beat up ones? I tracked them for a while the last 2-3 years, but haven't really looked much this year, trying not to be to be tempted.
