Need 'smith for FN action

I'm looking at rebarreling my FN action, and figured it would be a good time to go ahead and true the action. Any suggestions on a 'smith to do the work, at least one who can complete the work under 3-4 months? Thanks!

Re: Need 'smith for FN action

I had Mike Bush (BlackOps) do mine... couldn't be happier. Now I can't guarantee (actually, I really doubt) that he can meet your timeline... he's as busy as a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest BUT he does damn nice work.

Re: Need 'smith for FN action

I sent mine to GAP for a complete rework. Had a barrel in stock to put on so no wait there.
Had all the metal work done in <45 days. Had to wait another 6 months for the Manners stock. They would not mark it as a GAP build unless they bedded it.
Also I would give Jered at APA a call since you are in the same state.

Re: Need 'smith for FN action

Dave Sink out of Lexington, NC built a .260 for me on mine; he stays busy but he should be able to turn one out for you in under the time you stated. He is good to go; builds your stuff like he is building it for himself; mine is a "one holer" at 100 so far. PM me if you want more info.

Mark is great, but timeframe is running ~10+ months right now.

Here's his build that I own:

None better than Alan..he built 4 FN sprs to my specs---including YOURS!! All are tack drivers and function flawlessly. Moreover, Alan is one helluva nice guy and supporter of our sport.

Re: Need 'smith for FN action

Thanks for the suggestions. I have a call in to Ken at GAP, so I am awaiting a return call. I'll also check with Aj Brown, and see what they can offer me.
