I bought a new in the box older Armalite AR10 National Match rifle not long ago. My use for it is to do some target shooting and a little bit of hunting with it also. Right now it is completely factory. I want to change just a couple basic things on it. 1 is the hand grip and the other I am going to get a PRS Lite Magpul stock. The rifle has a 20 inch barrel on it and has no adjustable gas block on it. I need to know what quality buffer and spring would you suggest or any other product I should be using for this new stock I will be using. The stock on it now is the factory A2 stock I believe I will be replacing. I want a really good quality set up that will run the gun reliable. I was going to also change the trigger out but the National Match 2 stage trigger is really nice as it is and will leave it in the rifle. I have played around with a lot of the AR15 rifles over the years but not an AR10. Any help on suggesting a good quality set up to use in the PRS Lite Magpul stock I will use to replace the factory stock with will be a great help. I would like to get this stuff ordered and put together as it has been sitting in the safe for some time and I am itching to get it out and start doing some shooting with it.

    Thanks,
    Dan

PRS Lite can use either a AR-15 carbine receiver extension or a A5 RE, so you have a few options. ArmaLite sells a AR-10 6 position receiver extension kit that is A5 in length. It includes everything you need, RE-castle nut-end plate-spring-buffer. There are others who make complete kits or you can buy the components individually. Compatibility of the components for a AR-10/SR-25/AR-308 is critical, it is not the same as an AR-15. PRS Lite does have some issues being loose with some RE brands, I don't about any issues with ArmaLite's RE's. ArmaLite's kit is usually out of stock on the website, but you can call them to see if they'll put one together for you.

The Armalite Carbine RE kit is the easy button.
