Building a new deer/hog/200 yard bench gun (just for small local varmint matches) What are your thoughts on this idea.
rem 700 s/a 308
17" krieger or bartlein barrel (need help deciding contour)
1-12 or 1-11 twist, i will be using 150gr-168gr within 500 yards
Kepplinger trigger
5rd ai mag, badger btm metal
bell and carlson adj m24 style stock
or xlr chassis folding system
i have long range rifles already and am hooked on my m1a lately so im looking for a deer/hog truck gun that is a shooter. Ill probably just run a vortex on it. Does this sound like a decent combo?
