Need some opions here.

Re: Need some opions here.

meh. i like the ones with more of a pronounced pistol grip. its got nice clean lines, but its not my style. how do you feel about it? thats all that matters. personally i like black rifles, but i see all these painted guns and scopes and some are way cool. hell i try not to scratch the junk i have, keep it meticulously clean. so when i see someone go at a scope or gun, either of which costs more than both my scope and gun put together, my scrote shrivels up like a wool sweater in the dryer. someone posted a new choate model that was priced right and looked good

Re: Need some opions here.

You might want to look into a stockade stock, I have one at home in the closet thats a pretty decent unit. I never got around to finishing the build though.

You can also look on the McM specials page and maybe find a stock already setup for what you have.

Re: Need some opions here.

If you are just going to carry it and shoot standing or from a bag it would be fine. Plastic stocks generally are very flimsy and will warp if any sling tension or bipod tension is applied causing errating performance.
Best to get a stock with an aluminum liner for stiffness.

I have four of the Choate Ultra Varmint and they are quite stiff and work well with sling or bipod. It is also easily adjustable for length and cheek pieces.

I don't care for the Choate Sniper model as it found it flexed as there is no liner.
