Well, the snow fell today and that means the 2nd season of "Predator Hunting: SUPPRESSED" is just about to get kicked into high gear.

Time to charge the batteries in the HD camera and head out into the elements. We've been doing some back and forth discussion and both options are HIGH on the priority list, but we want to know...WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO SEE US CATCH ON VIDEO MORE? (yeah, we want both too, but where should we place emphasis?)

A kill beyond 1100 yds with a suppressed rifle

    OR

Inside 5 yards with a suppressed pistol?

The long shot would show shooting skills, which would be neat for the members here.

The pistol shot would show true field craft, which would be something that would be helpful for everyone here.

    I voted 5yd.

I know a coyote can turn angry lickity-split...but if one were to attack skinney, he could potentially rip off one of it's legs and beat it to death. If that didn't work, it would be interesting to see one get pistol whipped.

Interesting results, I kinda expected it to be more 50/50.
Guess it's time to get out the G34 and Octane-9 as well as the FNP .45 and Ti-Rant and start finding the best way to pack it so it's handy while predator hunting.
A pistol holster is easy, but add a can and possibly a laser and it's a little harder to fanangle.

    Re: Need some votes!!

Since I am an avid yote hunter and we have shot coyotes at 5 yards with a pistol and a shotgun I had to vote for the 1100 yards.

Since hunting with a suppressor is illegal in AZ I would even like to see a double or triple called in and taken at 100 to 200yds with a suppressor just to see the reaction of the second or third dog. Unsuppressed the second and third yote are typically fur rockets the minute the first shot is fired.

Typically is the key word there.
Skinney has said it many many times and I 100% agree. There is no way to know how a coyote will react every time it hears a gun shot, let alone a suppressed gun shot.
We've all seen a second dog lock in his tracks in surprise when it hears it's buddy get popped and we've all seen the second dog bolt at the first sign of a gun shot. You just never know.

The scenario you crave will probably be the finally of the DVD we're pushing out in the next few weeks. It's taken longer than we thought, but rest assured...we're doing our best to make it the best, most exciting and unique predator hunting DVD "you've ever heard"
