If i were you, id go ahead and take that stock off, burn it, piss it out, shoot it, blow it up, and send it into orbit. Otherwise it will just frustrate you.

Don't listen to them. Just get it out and shoot the fucker until the barrel needs replacing. You got a 1/2MOA gun right out of the box and it will hold 1/2MOA for at least ten rounds before heat Save your money fo rreloading equipment and reload your ammo with the first ones being done in 1/2 grain increments in sets of ten to see what load YOUR rifle likes best. After you have shot it for a year or so, then start looking at a new stock, a tune up of the action, and if you have the big dinero a new barrel, but mark my words, you have at least three thousand rounds in that barrel before you even need to think about it. Then again, you may have a shit ton of money so get the sucker restocked, tuned up, rebarrelled and motor on

I have the sps it shoots 3/8 of an inch with a handload. wish I had bought the varmit for my clone m40a1
