After going on a half hour hunt/retrieval of the "lost tampon" on too many occasions the thought of getting some action was overwhelmed by the need to blind my minds eye with whiskey.

But that's what the operator will see instead of the real person currently scanned. It's just an unspecific representation of a human body because of privacy issues.
The op just needs to know where possible threats are hidden, not what the real body of the passenger looks like.
