I've been reading the site for a long time, started coming up with enough of my own questions that I figured it was time to jump in. Trying to become a more proficient shooter. I live in Kodiak and mountain hunting blacktails gets me out of bed in the morning, whether it's hunting season or not. Been shooting a .308 Kimber for about five years but recently switched to a 6.5 CM Tikka to start working on extending my range. Just here to learn.

I'm in Anchorage at the moment, so not sure I can really claim to be from Alaska now that I'm not living off the road system. Not made it to Kodiak yet, but I'm trying to talk my wife into moving there for a few years.
