Re: New Anschutz 54.18R

DO NOT send it to tansinator. He didn't even offer to pay shipping which I will gladly cover

.

Nice rifle bro. I can't see a front sight block so am guessing you're not running irons. What optic are you going to use. Make sure you post a range report.

Re: New Anschutz 54.18R

I am going to start with a 16X Mark 4 and see how that goes...I will ship it in a few weeks just got it.Been in a box for a long while and it feels good out. The balance is amazing

Re: New Anschutz 54.18R

Dlc356, my first post of "ship it to me" is just like in the for sale threads, first "I'll take it" gets it. Sorry Bud. And Tuna, do not clean that barrel after you season it. Send me the remainder of what ammo it prefers and I'll pay shipping on the ammo.

Tuna,
Nice group. I've yet to see an Anschutz that won't make little bitty holes.

tansinator,
I didn't realize it worked the same as "I'll take it". Since Chattanooga isn't that far away you can just swing down to B'ham and drop the rifle off on the odd weekends. You can take the evens.

That's the 54.18MSR (as in metallic silhouette repeater) so it isn't setup for irons. Purpose built for offhand scoped use within the rules of NRA/IMSA.
GREAT RIFLE!!! Unfortunately Anschutz decided to not import the 54.18MS or MSR's anymore.

All I can say is that if the owner of any 54.18MSR's decide to make a tactical trainer, PLEASE do not hack up the stocks!! Sell them to a silhouette shooter!!

Re: New Anschutz 54.18R

Danged, a new NICE rifle and he is getting to run over it in his CARPETED garage.

Life must be tough on "The Beach"

I may not be first in line but I would care for it and feed it well so you can send it my way instead of running over it.

Re: New Anschutz 54.18R

Bought it from a friend that shot about a half brick thru it. Only had a 14X on it going to a 24X it was a little windy and I am happy,so far feeds great.Used a rolled up jacket for a rest and no rear bag.Seems like I am going to be paying a lot of shipping costs, Carpet is the only way to go keeps your toes warm

Bill </div></div>

It liked the wolf but this is Lapua Midas L I found on closeout

Love the thumbhole makes it easy for off hand but not with this scope LOL

Wondering if I should put a front stud on it I like a bi pod better then a bag
