Spoke with the guys at Berger and the new bullets won't work in my TRG-42 with a 1 in 12" twist - they said it needs to be less than 1 in 10" - just to let you guys know...

Newer TRG-42s CAN be had in a 1:10" twist. The Bergers might still be able to work with this faster twist, but not optimally.
Mine is 1:12", so I stick with the 250s, which are fine out to 1500+ yds.
I shot 20 300gr SMKs and they did OK at 100 yds, between 1"-2", so I'm shelving the rest that I have here for the day I rebarrel.
