I've been wanting to build my own rifle for a while and finally decided to go ahead with it. I used my old Savage 110 action and decided to stay with 7mag since I already had brass and dies. Bill's Custom guns in Shelby Ms threaded the barrel and headspaced it. I bedded the duramaxx stock with devcon, painted the barrel, action, and stock with duracoat, and installed a Rifle Basix trigger that breaks clean at 2 pounds. I got the muzzle brake off RWS from here and it kicks like a .223 now. Here she is, shot her for the first time today, and I'm awful proud. Called a flinch on the 4th shot as soon as I pulled the trigger. Got $450 in the rifle total.
