I was equally nervous the first time I painted an optic...but I dove right into the deep end and did my Nightforce NXS last year.

I'd painted my other scopes before. Maybe I felt it was taboo since the marines never allowed the painting of issued M16's and M4's

It took me about 2 hours including cutting the stencils and prepping the rifle. I used krylon ultra flat light green, olive, khaki and rustoleum flat brown. It would have helped to have a lighter tan and a lighter brown.

Very nice camo job. Be careful laying it in the grass like that cause it will get lost. Awesome job.....
