Well, I finally got my hands on a TS and upgraded it the way I want. The only thing not done is drilling and tapping for a DAA Adjustable Narrow Thumbrest (still on the fence).

The trigger breaks at 1lbs 10oz. Love the Armory Craft flat trigger/magwell and the service was awesome. The wall is gentle, but slightly larger than my STI, but the pull weight is less.

Honestly not as impressed with the Lok Grips as I'd hoped to be. I ordered a red liner and it was a much duller tone than pictured. I also selected that they trim the grips for the original TS magwell, which they didn't. And they took 2 weeks to ship. All that being said, the grips feel amazing and weren't hard to modify myself.

Overall, the gun is slick as shit and I am very happy. Everything got polished with 1000, 1500, and then 2000 sandpaper. And it is stupid accurate. I took someone shooting who had never been and they shot 1" groups at 7 yards and a 4" group at 12 yards.

The TS is an amazing value, nothing comes close without spending 60% more money. I use mine for 3 gun and I'm not missing out on much compared to my buddies Hayes, STI etc. 2011's.
I love to give it to novice pistol shooters and watch their faces light up when they repeatedly smack a 10" plate at 50 yards right after they assured me that wasn't possible.

Ditto on that! I took a date out and we started with a suppressed Ruger Mk4. I then had her pick up an SP01 Shadow Target II, the Tactical Sport, and an STI Costa Carry so she could determine which would felt the most comfortable. She picked the TS. And after shooting both of the others, still wanted to spend the rest of the night with the TS.

Did you keep the CZ Custom hammer or put in the CGW hammer? Mine is pretty darn good, but I am wondering if the CGW would make the travel through the break just a bit shorter.

It's got the CZC hammer. Its all 1500 grit polished, grip reduction, lighter springs, aluminum trigger, CGW 10x bushing and some other stuff I can't remember. I stopped trying to get the trigger pull any lighter or shorter because unlike in USPSA where you grab it at the beep and hold on till ULSC, in 3 gun it gets thrown in buckets, drawn mid-run, bounced off of other guns and other generally sketchy stuff.

Do you have it in 9mm or .40?
I've only fired a few rounds through a TS, and it was accurate just standing on my hind legs and pulling the trigger leisurely. It was soft-shooting. Perhaps the slide was cycling a little slowly, compared with what I'm used to.

Hmmm....i hadnt thought about the CZC hammer. The factory one is pretty good. I hit it with 1500 and then 2000 grit polish.

Mine is a 9mm that i am using mostly for steel challenge. Id like to get into USPSA shooting though, so i will have to beef up my loads to major or get a .40 upper. I enjoy bowling pin shoots so the .40 upper is on the table anyways.

I’m a big CZ sand Tanfoglio fan for USPSA. You’re going to like it more every time you shoot it. I think the TS trigger is a little too light, but that’s a first world problem for sure.

I need to shoot my TS more in limited division. I keep shooting production for some reason.

I bought this used and in pretty rough shape. I had the slide seratations extended and the whole gun refinished in black DLC ion bond.

9mm for me. You can make them feel however you want with a little spring rate and ammo testing.

Beautiful TS! I could be understating the trigger pull, but its definitely under 2lbs. Im unfortunately a trigger snob, so I enjoy that weight.

Where did you send the gun off to be refinished? There is a local guy here who does good slide work and cerakoting. I was thinking of having him plane the slide so it was angular, instead of rounded, and then add some windows to lighten it.

I forgot to say that the one I tried was a .40 loaded to IPSC Major. It was nice to shoot. My only niggle was that I couldn't put the safety on with my strong hand thumb. Somehow the angles and leverages were wrong for that in my hands.

I had Mod1 Firearms do the slide work. They’re local to me in KY. I’m not sure where he sent it for the DLC coating.
